Excellent meal and service tonight at the Railway Arms. The menu is varied, even for vegetarians (a rarity these days) and they also had five or six specials on the board.
The portions were huge, particularly for the price, and served hot and fresh. We asked for a few tweaks when ordering and nothing was too much trouble.
Great range of drinks, alcoholic and soft. With all this, an amazing server (perfectly, not overly, attentive and super friendly) and a gorgeous pub dog, what’s not to love?!

The food lives up to the hype and reviews. A very decent, well cooked roast with all the trimmings. Meat was cooked perfectly, nice slightly burnt Yorkshire, tasty potato’s and some really good veg. Almost too much food. Nice service too and well priced
Food was fantastic. My mum enjoyed fresh Cromer crab, and I had a lovely homemade fish pie, followed by an amazing key lime pie. Very dog friendly as well 😃 Haven’t been before but will definitely be going again.
Popped in rather late for lunch but hopeful.. The staff were friendly and the chef was happy to cook for us. Ordered a burger and chicken pie. The portion size is generous, the price was extremely reasonable. The pastry on the chicken pie was light and flaky and full off chicken, bacon and leeks, just lovely. Seasonal veg cooked perfectly. Son said the burger was the best he’s ever had. If we are in the area again this is on our must visit list. Highly recommend. I imagine it’s a popular venue for locals so would probably advise booking at busy periods however they are super friendly and do their very best to accommodate so pop in if you’re passing.
Everything about his pub is BRILLIANT!!! 7 of us went tonight and it was simply brilliant!
Decent proper food you leave fulfilled not walking out hungry and the food was absolutely delicious! All of us were blown away with how good it tasted and the quality you get. The girls were super friendly and the chef checked himself if we were happy. How couldn’t we be! It’s was absolutely outstanding..
We’re already working it when we can get back. Plenty to room, comfy chairs, lovely atmosphere and food which was plentiful and super tasty.
And as none drinker they serve Pepsi Max….thats my treat drink
